The front desk area is always kind and friendly. This time though, my experience with the dental hygienist’s bedside manner left little to like. She never introduced herself she was cold and robotic and definitely did not provide what I expect to receive at Kalmar family dentistry. All of the other hygienists in the past have always been friendly, caring. This woman was none. I would not like to have her again when I return for my next cleaning. I probably will not refer friends to use her.

In the 20 years I’ve been a patient of the Kalmar family practice, they’ve consistently been a wonderful dental health support team. The Drs. Kalmar, Dr Jones and Dr. Mackey and their staff have always treated me with the utmost sensitivity, and have continually demonstrated the highest quality standards in the dental health care field.

I do like my hair cut & color, in a general sense, but I think the lighting in your salon is a big issue. I am a petite person, but I do think my chair was raised too high for Little Gina to see the top of my head. I felt very much like she rushed through the coloring because she had another client, AND she missed coloring some of my grays on top of my head. That was the main point of coloring my hair. I also took a good 15 min to explain to her exactly what I wanted for my color, which was essentially highlights along with an ombré. I do not know if that is just impossible to do to hair OR if the stylist did not have time for both; that was not explained to me. I ONLY got highlights, I did NOT get an ombré, like I asked, and I felt rushed out of the salon so I could not really take the time to speak with Little Gina. I also do not think she understood what I was showing her in the photos I brought with me to show her exactly what I wanted. Perhaps next time, I will request more time for a color. I do like Aveda products, so I hesitate to go anywhere else.Read More …
