Interestingly, my first massage here ended up being with a different therapist than I was originally told.
Leslee took decent care of me and while I appreciated her insights into my mechanical imbalances...she was honestly a bit off putting. On the intake form, I highlighted the areas that were most bothersome to me on the diagram and also checked the line that explicitly said to focus on those areas. Instead, I was given a full body massage and even told that those areas weren't as tight as I thought they were.
Leslee's technique was more or less adequate. Not the worst I've had, but also far from the best. My shoulders and neck could've used far more extensive work and I was annoyed that just minutes were spent at the very end on the latter.
While I'm sure that the other massage therapists may be more receptive to their clients and more effective in their technique, this ultimately was an average session at best in terms of therapeutic value.
