This review is for the infrared sauna as I have not used other services yet. But after the attention to detail from the friendly welcome to making you feel special by personalizing your visit, I will definitely go back for a soothing massage.
If you want to escape for a while and as a customer be treated with respect in a friendly, relaxing environment, Kanna Spa is the place to go! All I can say is you won't be dissapointed if you are looking for a local day spa where the owner truly cares for her customers. Give it a try!

I thoroughly enjoyed my 60 minute relaxation massage with Camilla and my 30 min Infrared session. Your spa is very peaceful, clean and inviting.

Let me preface, I am grateful that Kanna Spa has a spa menu that places around San Mateo don't offer.
I requested Remineralizing Wrap & Massage Package with Wrap & Scalp, Neck, Jaw Massage. It started with a massage but not the scalp, neck and jaw. The attendant did more of a full body massage first which was fine but not expected. After the massage was the re-mineralizing wrap, it was relaxing until she forgot to do my back after she started to clean my legs off. I don't think this is a full body wrap. Just be mentally prepared to do work for this massage with movement.
Like I said, I appreciate the service and hope others have more relaxing experiences.

Very clean modern space with professional and friendly staff. Dr Tang is very patient, thorough and detail oriented. I'm glad my previous dentist retired (mainly because I no longer need to drive to SF for dental work) and have found Dr Tang! TVs in the ceiling so you're no longer starring at the blank ceiling wall, genius. Lots of free parking! Located in the back of HIllsdale Shopping Center near the Nordstrom entrance.
