Went in recently for a check up and stabilizing a loose crown.
Upon checking the teeth before refitting the crown, a cavity was discovered in an adjacent tooth that wasn't visible when the crown was in place. I'm sure a root canal was in my future if this hadn't turned out the way it did.
Lots of work repairing the cavity, and making sure the adjacent tooth was in acceptable condition for the crown.
No discomfort whatsoever in a procedure that took over an hour. My greatest concern was that I was going to fall asleep and start snoring.
