I brought my 2 year old son here for his first dental visit. Being a solely pediatric office, I would have expected the staff to be a bit more knowledgeable about his developmental level. The hygienist was attempting to give him instructions that most 2-year olds would definitely not comprehend. He was obviously frightened to this new scenario, so I wish that they had taken more time to familiarize him with the equipment by demonstrating on me or a doll, etc. While I was happy to be in and out of there fairly quickly, I also felt that we were very rushed. I'm sure that this office is great for older kids who understand what is happening but I would suggest more education to the staff regarding the developmental levels of their patient. I also expected the waiting room to be more kid friendly, there was only a small table with 2 toddler-sized chairs and one toy to play with. Also, a box of crayons, but nothing to draw on, so my toddler started drawing on the table (like many other kids before him have, I imagine).
