Established in 1968 Dr. Gerald N. McGown, DDS Pediatric Dentistry has been serving the Greater Houston community since 42 years. The practice in Missouri City TX was established in 1986 when there were ranches and farms all around the Rotunda building except for the good old Township Center. The experience of Dr. McGown treating children is vast. This is obvious from the fact that some children who he treated as a newly graduated Pediatric Dentist now bring their grandchildren to him for their oral and dental needs.
Dr. Vajahat Yar Khan joined in with Dr. McGown in January of 2009 and since then experience and youth has merged in this practice to create a stimulating environment of learning and mentorship taking forward the old moto of prudent preventive dental care combined with the modern tricks and techniques for elaborate treatment needs of our young patients.Our desire remains to cradle our patients through college, but some even go beyond because they do not want to stop coming to us for their ongoing preventive care. We offer ethical and high quality patient care. We also understand the challenges faced by the young ones because we talk to them understand them and their families and try our best to allay their anxieties and fears. Our children always come first.

I've been to quite a few dentists before for extractions, cavities, and cleanings. But when I had to get three extractions done, I went to one dentist that told me it would cost 1200 dollars! I had heard of Dr.Yar Khan from a friend and decided to try it out. I went and after the check up, they told me it was going to cost half as much as the other dentist. I was ecstatic and made an appointment a week later. I just got me teeth pulled out and the whole thing was over in 30 minutes. It was by far the best time I've ever had at the dentist.
