The technician arrived as scheduled and replaced the filter. His portion of the job was done well and as far as it went.However, he was completely unaware the I had purchase a maintenance contract and there should have been a complete system check and cleaning. He was going to notify the office of the issue and have someone get back to me. At this point noone has gotten back to me.
This is not the first time I have had this type issue. During the sales phase I was promised the first year full maintenance would be free and that I would receive a cover for the outside air conditioning unit. The office was never made aware of those promises and I had to force the issue.
During the initial installation I was promised there would be a complete a complete clean-up of the work site but I spent the next couple weeks finding and picking up screws, cut pieces of ducting, wire and wire sleeving.
I am happy with the system performance as installed but the issues listed above prevent me from recommending this company
You had a preventive maintenance plan that started 05/31/2016 and ends in 05/31/2017. Your preventive maintenance plan comes with 1 furnace cleaning, cleaning of the indoor and outdoor coil, blower motor cleaning and 3 filter changes. Which is why the technician came out to do the filter change the last time he was out. If you check what your plan includes you can see it only comes with 3 visits in that one year from the start date. We performed your cleanings when you first signed up for the preventive maintenance plan. We are sorry that was not communicated clearly with you and we apologize you found screws on the floor. If we had been made aware of these issues right away we would've responded immediately to take care of the materials found.
