I was feeling very anxious about having a crown put on my rear molar. I had never had a crown and it sounded like a more dramatic procedure than a filling. When I expressed this during my appointment, Dr. Christianson was very sympathetic. He heard my concerns and spent a long time talking with me about the procedure: how it would go, what his expectations were, why it was needed, and how it compared with other solutions. He also helped me to understand how cavities are formed from a biological perspective.
This really instilled me with confidence, and afterwards I felt at ease with the procedure.
