The advise given to me for the care of my dog who has urinary crystals was to change her diet to a food with less protein. I did this very gradually as my dog has a known sensitive digestive track. Half way thru the change she began throwing up. I brought this to the attention of the Vet and was again advised to change her dog food brand. I find this advice counterproductive. Instead I will try to relieve her distress by going back to her usual diet, I am waiting to hear the results of her latest urinalysis.
The Center is so welcoming! My dog, Tungsten enjoys going there for his checkups. He loves the staff so much, which makes his visits so enjoyable. Thanks for making my dog feel safe and secure going to the Vet.
Other than the fact that my cat came close to dismantling the "cat friendly" room, I have nothing but good feelings about Kearny Mesa Veterinary Center. (Please do a better job of protecting those computers, papers and other items behind the little wall!)
Everyone is friendly and clearly capable of giving the good service I have come to expect from them. We have brought our pets here over quite a few years.
Dr. Sorrels knows cats and my cat Ketut, smart fellow that he is, recognized that right away. Dr. Sorrels is a friendly, calm, smiling man who also made me feel relaxed and confident in his abilities.
Thanks to Doc Barre for his close attention to detail and caring for our pup. We can be tough customers with specific needs and requests and he and his office handled them all beautifully on this visit, really a great job thank you.
