The roots of The Koetting Associates can be traced back over 100 years when John Koetting opened an optical shop along side his jewelry store. His son, Dr. Felix Koetting, began his optometric practice in 1921, followed by his son, Dr. Robert A. Koetting, who founded The Koetting Associates. Today, our professional staff is led by Dr. Carmen F. Castellano, a nationally recognized contact lens specialist, who is one of only 200 persons to have successfully completed the requirements to become a Diplomate in the Section on Cornea, Contact Lenses and Refractive Technologies of the prestigious American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Castellano was joined in practice in 1992 by Dr. Craig Sorce and in 2011 by Dr. Joseph Castellano. Our doctors work with a team of trained assistants and technicians.
The Koetting Associates has long been a leader in the area of contact lenses, participating in the research and development of the latest lens materials and solutions over the years. In addition our practice has taken a leading role in providing the latest in refractive surgery options for our patients. Whether it is contact lenses, refractive surgery, spectacles, or simply eye health care, The Koetting Associates is committed to provide the highest quality eyecare possible for our patients.
