They close at 6.00 p.m. I get there with a cat at 6.00 p.m. they still see my cat. All the doctors are very friendly and explain thing very thoroughly. They always ask before they do anything expensive and give other options . The whole group are caring and helpful with you and your pet in mind.
We recently took our 10 year old cat in for treatment. She definitely had something wrong with her. After a couple of rounds of medication with no improvement, we discussed options with Dr. Dyer. He was honest about how we could put her through several tests which could be quite expensive yet yield no answers or might not extend her life. We were devasted but knew our beloved pet was suffering. Dr. Dyer didn't push us or make us feel like terrible pet owners. He was incredibly kind. We came to the difficult decision of letting kitty go. We had adopted this beautiful unwanted kitty from a rescue organization when she was 3 years old and she was part of our family. After the procedure Dr. Dyer told my husband that kitty had a tumor on her liver. We had suspected that as we had the same thing happen to our 16 year old Siamese several years ago. I would not hesitate taking any future pet we might adopt to Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic.
My two dogs are treated here, Jacob and Jeremiah and I will never use a different Clinic! The personnel here is very attentive, friendly and they really love my dogs, specially Jacob that has been treated since day one six years ago.
My Dr was attentive, considerate and very thorough in Bubba’s exam. She assisted me in making the choice that was right for me and Bubba. She thorough explained all options for Bubba’s pain medication. When she called the next day with his blood results, she thoroughly explained them and gladly gave me the good news. Also, the young man who set my appointment was kind and got my cat food ready for my appt. Thank you for attending to the needs of my pets.
