We were seen right away and after checking our dog the vet explained everything in a manner easy to understand.

I took my cat in over the weekend, as she was not responding as quickly as I would have liked to my vet's treatment. They listened very carefully, and presented different options for a plan to make kitty comfortable, complete with pricing (so no surprises!) Very kind, competent staff.

We booked a mid-afternoon appointment and had to wait 20+ minutes past our appointment time to be seen, then after talking to a vet tech for several minutes had to wait an additional 45+ minutes in the room to be seen by the vet. Our pets surgery was then quoted $2000 higher than any other vet had quoted us.

My wonderful dog was feeling sick, losing weight rapidly, having bowel issues, and had enough issues and question marks to merit my vet sending me to Lakeshore to get him more care. Through several days of hospitalization, several ultrasounds and x-rays, an exploratory surgery that turned into something more, it seemed like the team at Lakeshore cared about him like he was their own and I was calmed knowing they were taking such care of him. They were communicative and responsive and so so so kind. He's home and recovering quickly and I truly think he was a little sad to leave all his new friends on the Lakeshore team.

Excellent the only negative is the waiting but understand and appreciate the policy of the most in need first. Excellent rapport with Dr. Laid out options and set up follow up.

Front staff equally polite, caring concerned and gave excellent information.

Through my dog's eyes: Upon leaving Lakeshore, I started sweating profusely, water dripping from my mouth. I couldn't stop the tremor that started in my left leg. My hind legs had difficulty supporting my little body. I paced the house all night, going through all rooms up and down to the second floor, hardly sleeping. In my 14 years, I have never had or done these things before. I know I was very sick, but this experience was not what I expected nor wanted. Now, I am with my mother, father and sisters.

The messaging and guidance from primary care giver lead us to the clinic in Glendale from the Oak Creek clinic. We could have stayed at the Oak Creek clinic for testing that was done. The opinion of the veterinarian on call was stated that our cat may need additional imaging and exam by a neurologist that would be on staff at Glendale clinic by 06:00 hours that morning. We drove to Glendale clinic at about 00:30 hours and got home at about 02:30. I went back the next day to pick up our cat at 16:00 with no imaging needed, no additional testing blood test done, in fact our vet (Brentwood) did an additional blood test that was not done by Lakeshore. That was $200. I was billed for $1600 for services from Lakeshore for less than 24 hours of care (boarding) and one incomplete test that needed to be done almost a week later. The messaging from your veterinary staff was inconclusive, speculative, and unnecessary. I believe there was genuine concern for our cat from the staff and they were comforting. However this was an example of poor communication between clinics and care providers. I feel the fee for services does not come close what our expectations.
