The job Lawrence did for me was to wire a 24x36 garage for a shop and correct some existing amateur wiring.

The guys showed up on time and well equipped. The job was well organized and efficiently done, and everything worked.

There were only two issues not entirely satisfactory. One was that my plan called for GFI breakers in the new box and Lawrence substituted GFI wall sockets for cost reasons - on the day of installation, surprise! I agreed to this due to time pressures, but I would not have allowed this otherwise. Those damn GFI sockets are a nuisance, when they pop off you've gotta run around to all the wall plugs and find the one that's tripped.

The other, and more minor issue, was that some of the boxes were not set properly for the drywall, and so cannot mount cover plates without installing extensions.

Tony and Chris came out to my house and did an excellent job. The work was amazing and my house doesn't even look like anyone was here. They cleaned the entire mess. I felt completely comfortable with them in my home

I have an issue with outdoor lighting at my home and I know enough about the problem to know that it's not a simple fix. Something that would best be addressed by an electrician, not a normal handyman. I called Lawrence Electric and scheduled an appointment. I believe the owner returned my call and he was great. The problem that I encountered was when the workmen (neither of which were the owner, I don't believe) came out to my place. We explained the issue with the lights (we had motion sensor lights that flickered on and off all night. However, on our own, we were able to determine that the problem was not with the motion sensor but with the wiring itself. A short or something that causes the power to flash on and off every 10-15 seconds no matter what kind of light is installed). The workers listened to our explanation of the problem, then decided that we were stupid women that didn't understand how motion sensors work. They only changed the fixtures to new ones, disregarded the underlying problem and left us with new non-motion sensor lights that flicker on and off all night. The bill for this service was nearly $300. A handyman could have changed out the fixtures for me for $30. Or I could have done it myself for free. I would have called the owner to complain, but the worker he sent used my bathroom and took a smelly dump during the short time he was at my house and frankly, I just didn't want them back. Fellow women who have experienced being disregarded as if they don't know what they're talking about when it comes to home improvement/repair will sympathize.

You guys were great. The crew was very nice and professional as well.

They were on time and did the work as agreed.

I still need the final bill, or is the estimate the amount I pay?

Thx again,

Thank you, Bryan and his partner (did not get his name) for another job well done. You guys are all the greatest. It is not easy to find service providers that actually keep appointments, work efficiently and are a pleasure to do business with. Appreciate your service and would recommend your company to anyone and everyone.
