Pain Relief Centers is a nationwide network of multi-disciplined, caring professionals at the forefront of pain medicine, providing comprehensive treatment for the management of acute and chronic pain syndromes. What sets our clinics apart from other pain management centers is that all of our physicians are Board Certified and Fellowship-trained in Pain Management and have received extensive training in pain management, anesthesia, psychiatry, neurology and PM&R.
Our Pain Relief Centers are setting the standard in Pain Management with interventions like Fluoroscopic Guided Procedures, Ultrasound Guided Injections and Kyphoplasty. We are using Neuromodulation techniques like Programmable Intrathecal Infusion Pumps, Spinal Cord Stimulation and Peripheral Nerve Stimulation to treat chronic spine and extremity pain, intractable headaches and other painful conditions. We are also now able to perform procedures, that in the past required open surgery, using a minimally invasive approach with new technologies such as Percutaneous Disc Decompression and Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression.
Our goal is to walk hand-in-hand with our patients and provide a customized and thorough treatment plan that allows them to enjoy a higher quality of life with little or no pain and minimal side effects from medications. In fact, many of the medications we use today have been modified or improved to allow patients to take much smaller doses and still receive the pain relief they desire. This helps our doctors maintain strict standards regarding patient medication management.

THIRD, ON MY VERY FIRST OFFICE VISIT THE GIRL ASKED FOR A URINE SAMPLE WITH NO EXPLANATION AND I SAID YES. THE DOCTOR NEVER MENTIONED ANYTHING ABOUT THE TEST OR THE RESULTS! FOUR WEEKS LATER I GET A EOB FROM MY INSURANCE CO. STATING THE TEST WAS BILLED AT $2478.00 FOR A DRUG TEST. I'M 63 AND NEVER DID DRUGS IN MY LIFE!!!!!! I FELT INSULTED AND RIPPED OFF!!

Thank you for contacting the Lebanon Pain Relief Center. We take feedback regarding our practice very seriously and I wanted to take the time to respond thoroughly to your inquiry regarding the urine drug screen and EOB. Given the specialty of our practice and due to the strict federal and state laws, our office protocol is to obtain a urinalysis on every patient. If there is a possibility that the doctor may prescribe medication(s), it is imperative for the doctor to understand what other medications (even prescribed) may be present in your system so that he may treat and prescribe for you accordinlgy. The presence of certain medications can have severe and potentially life threatening interactions with other medications. In the new patient paperwork that we require all new patients to complete (page 4), you signed a "Consent for Chronic Opioid Therapy" and item 12 speaks specifically to taking a screening. In regards to your EOB, that is what the insurance company is billed by the lab that confirmed the sample. In the case that you receive a statement, please contact the company at the number listed and a billing representative can assist with any discrepancies you may have. By no means is conducting a urine screen indicative of an individual using drugs or non-prescribed/prescribed medications; however, a means to ensure we provide the highest level of patient treatment possible.
