Going to see Dr Sandler is always a pleasure. He is polite, professional, and personable. He shows that he genuinely cares about the health of my eyes. He listens to any vision concerns. The office is friendly and the ladies at the desk are always professional and dealing with the patients.

My only problem was that I arrived a half hour before my appointment and was finally taken back a half hour after I was scheduled. The nurses/doctors were extremely nice and professional and experts at what they do, but the whole process involved a lot of waiting. I saw three aides and the doctor over a two-hour span. I suspect the cataract surgery won't take as long.

I have no idea why I was expecting negativity but, I did not receive it at all. It was an amazing experience. Thank you kindly for your service to me. The length of time I spent there was typical of most doctors offices. I never expected to run in and run out. It was a very good experience overall.

The front desk staff and the first clinician that tested my pressures were all very friendly and helpful. The ophthalmologist was quite rude and had terrible bedside manner. Prior to her walking in the door, I could hear her complaining about a patient and saying "I don't have time to keep calling." She made several comments to me that were very demeaning including practically berating me for messing up the name of a medication (I said it was a steroid and then said ZPak when I meant Medrol pack, but I said steroid and then corrected myself on the name of the med). She did not explain to me what she was doing when she was looking at my eyes and I was surprised when the instrument was touching my eyeball. When I tensed up I was told not to close my eye. Definitely could have been nicer.
She also commented about how primary care doctors should not be prescribing steroids for eye problems and allergists often misdiagnose. My issue was not fully ophthalmological and it was perfectly appropriate for my PCP to prescribe a medication for an allergy/irritation.
I am happy to discuss with a manager.

Dr. Walker was awesome as always. Not happy with the service from the guy handling order of glasses. Very bad attitude for some reason. Had wrong info about my insurance and kept saying he was right. After I called my insurance and they Corrected him that he pulled wrong plan, his attitude went worst. Stating “not big difference between what he had and what my plan was”. Seriously??? Instead of apologizing that he was wrong.
