About
Dr. Skylar Lighthall and his wife Lauren recently moved to Arizona with their three children. Dr. Skylar graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, and then completed a residency in General Dentistry at the Palmetto Health Hospital Dental Center in Columbia, South Carolina, where he was trained in all areas of dentistry with emphasis in implant dentistry. He enjoys treating patients of all ages and backgrounds and in all aspects of dentistry, while providing them with quality and compassionate care. He likes to involve his patients in their treatment and listen to their needs and concerns. Dr. Skylar speaks German, loves sports, and especially loves to spend time with his wife and three children.

I had an incredibly negative experience with a cruel dentist years ago, which led to years of dental neglect. My family moved from California 3 years ago and we were new in town. I had no idea who to see for dental care. My family receives care from Dr. Leonard at Morning Star. Karen, his front desk receptionist, highly recommended us to Lighthall Dentistry. From there I had my first cleaning in years. I also needed a crown to cover a preexisting root canal. When I went in to take care of the crown I had a major anxiety attack. Both Dr. Lighthall and Robin, his lovely assistant, handled me with the utmost care and walked me through it step by step without prejudice. They never rushed me or pressured me. They allowed me space and time to work up the courage to get this work done. I firmly declare that Dr. Lighthall and Robin has RESTORED MY FAITH IN DENTAL CARE.
