I am always impressed with the level of personal attention and service that starts from the minute I check in until I check out. Logan 14 has a culture of client service that is unmatched. Services are always delivered in the most professional way and are consistent during every appointment. I am there once a month and love every minute of it!
If I was giving a review just for color with Juan, it would be between 4-5 stars. The reason being that I do like the color. However, a great deal of my gray is not covered, which I expressed was my key goal. The main reason for the 2 star rating and why I will not return is how he handled the hair cut. I asked for a straight, blunt cut, which he had already done in April. During the cut, I noticed some of the ends were not even. He assured me he would double-check everything before he finished. When I initially left the salon, I did not notice any strands being uneven. However, the first time I looked in a mirror (about one hour later) I noticed many hairs longer than others, which is quite noticeable on my hair has it is straight and suppose to be one length. I contemplated going back to the salon and asking him to fix it. I finally decided if I was in his shoes, I would want my customer to return so I could fix the problem and have that client leave feeling satisfied. I returned and waited for him to finish with another customer, which was no problem. When I got to his chair, I pointed out the noticeable strands that were not cut at the same length as others. Instead of saying sorry and getting right to fixing the situation, he said he missed it because I styled my hair differently. My hair is all one length so it should not and does not matter what side I part my hair on since he cut it with the part in the center. Honestly, I thought this was odd and unprofessional to blame the client. If he did not have the sense to apologize, then, at the very least, he could of said something like "sure I will fix this." I was thoroughly disappointed with his lack of professionalism. and I will not return. With the cost he charges, I would expect the color and cut to be near perfect realizing everyone may make a mistake sometimes. The very least to do is then fix it without blaming the customer.
Everybody in the shop was friendly. The customer service was exceptional. The shop was inviting and well maintained. The stylist assistant was professional and skilled. Most of all, Juan gave me the most awesome haircut! He is a gifted stylist, a true artist, and it was a pleasure sitting in his chair.
Juan who did my keratin treatment and Brittany who did my express facial were both excellent. They had the right balance of friendly and professional and I was very happy with the outcome on both counts.
