I came is as a first time client last Wednesday. I am still simultaneously devastated and furious over my hair cut. I told the stylist who cut my hair that I wanted a trim ("The bare minimum taken off,") and some long layers put in. I said nothing about changing my part (which was to the side) or my bangs (which were longer and swept off to the side). Still, she took it upon herself to completely change my hair cut. She was far less concerned doing what I wanted than she was doing what SHE wanted--with MY hair!
She gave me short, blunt, straight-across bangs and a middle part. Now when I first saw it, I felt panicked and wanted to say something, but then I've had such a haircut before and I thought that, as with the last time, I should just be able to part it to the side. However, this stylist cut the top layers so short that doing so looks bad. One side of my hair has too many layers, and the other has no layers at all. Plus, I have way too much bang now.
Now, unfortunately the only way to possibly fix this predicament is get more hair cut off. So I'm left to choose between dealing with this absolutely terrible hair cut for a few months or cutting my hair rather short again, when I'm in the process of trying to grow it out long.
Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to this salon, and I most certainly will not be recommending it to any of my friends or classmates at UWF. To anyone reading this review, I do not recommend this salon, as it doesn't appear to me that their stylists know how to follow instructions.
