The staff at Love Pet Hospital are always friendly and courteous. Each person is knowledgeable and eager to help. I can tell they really love animals. When one of my pets died a few weeks ago, I received a condolence card signed by everyone on the staff. That meant a lot to me, that they all took the time to sign it. I feel blessed to have such wonderful veterinary care available.
Dr. Huckabee was great and very informative on all the different things that could be going on with the growth in his stomach. I also appreciate the x-ray to see what was going on. I am however frustrated with both myself and Dr. Davenport about my questions regarding him back in May. I sent multiple pictures of masses that kept appearing and disappearing and asked if this could be something internal. That question was never answered. I felt assured that he was fighting it off based on the comments in the email. I wasn't instructed to bring him to check him out just in case. I am kicking myself for not going with my gut and bringing him in then. We might have caught this giant internal mass way sooner and it would have been much smaller. I know we can't go back and change anything, but I wanted to bring this to Love Pet's attention. I think Dr. Davenport is a great doctor, but I wish I wouldn't have been told to come in and have him looked at then.
We love Love Pet Hospital! Every doctor and tech that we have seen has been caring, attentive, and great with our pets. My one complaint from our last visit is the checkout process. We did have a lot going on, but it took about 45 minutes. Every other visit we've had (and we've had a lot!) it takes about 10 minutes, so I'm sure this was a one off. I would definitely recommend Love Pet Hospital!
My dog CJ has been a patient of Dr. Love for over 11 years. I love that she uses a combination of Eastern and conventional vet methods. Dr. Love always has been a straight shooter and has gone above and beyond. Over the years the staff has become like family, although many of the originals are retired now. Top notch care.
The experience with Dr. Davenport was pleasant, thorough, and caring as usual - it was wonderful. However, the checkout process took about 15min. without anybody else waiting at the checkout. The staff who was at the checkout counter needed to go back and forth between front and back office to ensure the "coding" was right and matched with what the vet wrote on her note.
This is not my first time to experience this - almost every time I visit, I wait for at least 10 min. at the checkout some times due to crowded checkout. Please fix this. it is so painful - our animals are waiting meanwhile - they want to go home asap as you know. I don't know if the computer system is too old or the staff and the vets are not on the same page, but after a very pleasant experience with vets and vet techs, it is draining experience. I still come back to Love Hospital because I love the vet and the technicians - they are wonderful to work with. It is just the system that is not as great as the vet practice.
