I was disappointed to not be properly informed of what a bridge entails until the day of the work. I would likely NOT have chosen to do a bridge if I was told:
1) That two perfectly good teeth would have to be ground down and basically killed to implement the new tooth/ bridge;
2) That I may need a double root canal for the two teeth on either side of the bridge;
3) That I would need to use special flossing tool or a water pik to clean the bridge area.
I am also saddened that there is a new, nicer office available one block away that is never offered to some patients. The old office is rather dirty and not very sterile or hygienic looking. We are looking for a new dentist in town.
I also had teeth whitening trays made. They were made incorrectly and hurt my gums when used. I brought them to my cousin who is a dentist in FL and she showed me pictures of how they should look. They should be literally cut to the shape of the teeth, with no overlap. When I first went to pick-up the trays at the office they were not ready and I was told to come back 15 minutes later. So they were basically cut in 15 minutes with is obviously a rush job. I had to bring them back and have them re-cut.
Overall I am very disappointed with the services at Lucas. It's very hard to find good dentists and the search will continue.
