Dr. Newman is absolutely wonderful. The two stars is to reflect the very poor patient experience I have had with the sonographer. She spends the least amount of time possible to perform the ultrasound and has very poor bedside manner. Even down to simple things like offering to help me up after laying down or spending time to make the interaction more personable, she puts off the impression that she is there to quickly perform her basic duties and get done as soon as possible. She does the bare minimum to even touch me and seems very uncomfortable with any interaction outside of the objective task of doing an ultrasound. I am having twins and have had multiple ultrasounds take less than 4 minutes from entering to exiting the room. Knowing this is a billable service that I am paying twice the amount for and am a mom with basic concerns about my babies’ health, it would be nice to take the extra few minutes to make the interaction more comfortable. I absolutely love Dr. Newman, but if I was having more kids the time I have spent with the sonographer is enough to make me consider seeking another office.
