multiple reasons for being unhappy with this office.. #3 being my biggest concern!
1. My first call to make an ER apt for my son on Wednesday was rescheduled to the next day (Thursday) because of an "office emergency" So my son's pain was put aside until the next day..
2. My son was given 2 temporary fillings yesterday (7/24/14) and one is already falling out this morning. I felt rushed and felt because my son was scared that we were an inconvenience.
3. my son was referred for "full sedation" to get 4 crowns because the dentist thought it was in his "best interest". After speaking with the insurance company.. they were very surprised that he did this and the laughing gas wasn't even tried when he is under 5 years and that many offices won’t put children under 5 years of age under full sedation for the fear of them not waking up.
4. I called back this morning to try to come in to fix the filling that is ALREADY falling out and was told that the only time I could come in was 11am (mind you I work 8-5 M-F) and that the office will be closed ALL next week for vacation. So again, I feel as though my sons needs were put aside when it's not his fault the filling is falling out not even 24 hrs later. I feel as though 15 mins at the end of the day to fix a mistake that is not our fault and to prevent him from being in pain for 2 weeks while he eats is not much to ask. I feel as though his needs were unimportant to the office/ dentist.
I will say the staff was extremely nice and friendly/ talkative.
