I saw Dr. Best back in January since my previous dentist retired and she took over the practice. The hygienist was great and Dr. Best did the exam and informed me that I needed a crown. When I returned to the office last week to get the crown done, a different dentist performed the work. He was a younger guy (I believe his name was Dr. Shah) and was extremely nice, explaining everything to me and constantly checking to make sure I was ok. I had absolutely no problem with him. My problem is that nobody ever mentioned that Dr. Best was not going to be "my dentist". I assumed she was going to be my dentist going forward. To me, dentistry is a very personal service and people get accustomed (and are more comfortable) when they know the same dentist will be doing the work. For the most part, I've only had three dentists over the past 50 years, just for this reason! So, now am I just going to get a different dentist every time I go there??

We are sorry you didn't get to see Dr. Best. Her schedule is booked out quite a bit and unfortunately sometimes if the work needs to be done before she is available we may have to put you with someone else. In the future just let us know your preference and we will try to accommodate.
