Welcome to Select Eyecare & Innovative Eyewear. Dr. Jean Layman, Dr. Tamra Emerson and the Select Eyecare & Innovative Eyewear team strive to provide the best in optometry services. We invite you to browse our website to learn more about our optometry services and join our patient family by scheduling an eye exam appointment at our offices, which span from Coon Rapids,Buffalo, Monticello, and Anoka.

Our offices are full service eye and vision care providers, accepting both eye emergencies as well as scheduled appointments. Patients throughout the area come to us because they know they will receive the personal attention and professional care that is our foundation. Dr. Layman, Dr. Emerson and our team are dedicated to keeping our patients comfortable and well-informed at all times. We will explain every exam and procedure and answer all of our patients' questions. Additionally we offer vision financing options and will work with vision insurance providers to ensure good eye health and vision care for all of our patients.

I became a patient of Colbert Family Dental in 1991 when I moved to Minnesota and wanted to establish a relationship with a primary dentist; and I have not looked anywhere else in these past 29 years! From the beginning I felt their genuine attentiveness and caring as though I was family...and I continue to do so. Drs. Colbert and all their staff are professionals who are welcoming, very kind, and supportive. They continuously stay on top of the latest and greatest in technology, science, and medicine which gives you confidence in their treatment. I had my first bi-annual cleaning yesterday since the Covid-19 lock down and I observed the great attention given to detail with Covid-19 protocol and felt incredibly "safe" from the moment of checking in, throughout the procedure, and to the point checking out. My credit card was even returned to me sanitized!! I can't recommend this group of great professionals enough!
