Dr. Marti's practice has evolved the 'dental hygiene experience' as both art and entertainment, continuing the relaxed, congenial, and professional atmosphere as originally established by Dr. Wise. I actually look forward to my visits!!! My only concern is the compulsory prerequisite of costly x-rays regardless of apparent pathological justification. Perhaps the new digital transducer technology replacing the film medium has mitigated the risk of roentgen exposure, once considered a potent oral carcinogen.

Thank you for your review. Please know the xrays are justified. We are monitoring a certain tooth to ensure there is not a pathologic change occurring. The only way to monitor is to take an xray. There is 3/4 less radiation exposure in digital xrays.
