As our list of services grew, we saw the need to create Matters of the Hearth Inc. with a retail fireplace showroom in scenic Findley Lake, NY.

Matters of the Hearth continues to grow, offering a professional chimney service, fireplace restoration, chimney relining, and high quality gas or wood burning fireplaces, stoves and inserts with code compliant installation.

We are members of the Pennsylvania, the New York, and the National Chimney Sweep Guilds. Matt Hanby is certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America.
