The front desk staff are cheerful and helpful. Tammy the hygenist is honest, friendly, and obviously very prolific at her craft.

Nancy the general manager however, becomes obviously dissatisfied when she doesn't make a sale. This obviously means she's not very understanding toward some people's financial situations/preferences. She makes the tone of the entire dentistry seem like a profit-rearing business. Tammy is the only reason I keep going back.

I went about a week ago or so to take my daughter to her appointment. Last time I remembered I just spoke to the receptionists and the dental assistant before the dentist actually saw my daughter, but the recent visit I had the other day was bad. First we walk in and as I'm checking in I see a lady in the background with the name 'Nancy' on her shirt and she was talking to another receptionist but it didn't seem like she was being nice, she was being rude. Later on found out she's the office manager. Then when my daughter needed to use the facilities they were in unacceptable presentation. There was toilet papers on the floors, dust and it had a really bad urine stench. I just told my daughter to be as careful as possible and not to touch much because we didn't know what was dirty. I understand kids use the bathrooms as well but months back that didn't seem to be an issue. The day was just off. Their staff is usually better at maintaining such a good presentation all around in the office: customer service and hygienely too but that day was bad. Well later on a friend needed recommendations on a dentist for her children and I addressed her to them because they've always taken good care of my daughter when it comes to her dental appointments, but come to find out my friend told me that she spoke yet again to the office manager there and the information she got was that she would need a $50 deposit but when my friend refused to give the down payment she was quick to end the call. I don't know what changes the office has made but it's obviously not good ones and they need to teach some customer service lessons to the higher uppers since they seem to forget they're still dealing with people, a position doesn't make you better than others. Treat everyone equally.

I love how friendly the staff is but the lady with really short,puffy hair was being rude to the front desk ladies. I don't know her name it was my first time there at the office.

Overall great job on customer service and the office is very nice .Very modern!

Eddie is an extremely competent, professional that knows how to work with his patients. His personality is a big asset since he is a "people person". He is at the top of his professional status with the knowledge and skills he possesses to do an outstanding job for his patients. He is definitely an asset to the overall organization at McAllen Dental Associates! Thank you for making his services available to my wife and me. I have always highly recommended him to my relatives, friends and anyone needing his services.
