I was recommended to these guys by my handyman who didn't have a licensed electrician on hand. I needed a licensed electrician so the handyman could not do it. I called up JP and they seemed nice enough. They set up a time about a week out and I figured it would be set. I explained how quick the job was.
On the day on the service I had my wife stay at home. The 11AM so it wasn't a huge deal. He could do the job in under 5 minutes and she could get the kids. About 25 minutes before the appointment the guy called me. He gave me the sob story of how his other job was running late, blah blah blah. I said no problem. This wasn't a big job, I know that, so no biggie. He said he would be there at 2PM. OK, so I told my wife when to be back at the home. Then at 2:15 he called me. Surprise surprise he was still running late. OK I told him, no problem. When will you be there. He gave me another time. Shocker, he wasn't there at that time either. But by this point he was texting and told me he was 5 minutes away. Of course he wasn't, but that's fine. When he finally saw what I needed he got upset because it was a waste of his time. Literally got upset that I dare bothered him to fix something for me. A few minutes (like 3) he was done and left.
About a week later I received a call from the company. They needed my email to send the bill. I paid for it, etc. They had the AUDACITY to write that they gave me a "discount". There was no breakdown or costs, nothing. Just a total that said "discount included". $140 and they were late, and complained. How much would this have been if they were on time and I didn't get that "preferred client discount"??? Do yourself a favor and look them up on the internet and see the other reviews of them.

Mr. B, it is vastly unfair of you to make such false accusation and bashing our company all over the internet. We did what you asked of us and billed you accordingly. Yes, you did get a discount, and if you read our terms on your invoice you will realize that.
I, the electrician, gave Mr. B a courtesy call when I knew that my current job I was on would run over into his scheduled arrival time. I asked if this was a problem and if so I would leave my current job to arrive at his appointment on time. Since he wasn't home at all throughout this scenario he had to check with his wife. Once he checked with his wife, he called me back to say that was no problem. When I was running late the second time I gave a courtesy call to inform Mr. B letting him know that I would be running late. At this point Mr. B texted me back saying it would be no problem getting there at 3PM. This sometimes happens with the nature of our work, things run over at times. When this is the case I always call my customers to inform them.
Our appointment, we agreed to in the end was 3 P.M. I arrived on site minutes after that. I would never become ?upset? over any amount of work, big or small. Nevertheless I was there longer than 3 minutes. I was shown the job, I had to identify the live circuit and turn off the circuit breaker, get a ladder off my van, cut the wire back, mount a box, cap off the wires and put a blank plate on. After that I needed to liven up the circuit and pack up my tools and ladder. Afterward I asked your wife (again because Mr. B was not there) if there was anything more that I could do for her at that time. I did my paperwork and handed it into my office. Once it was processed, we called to get a payment.
