I spoke with Mr. Eddinger yesterday concerning his experience with our store. The initial issue that he had was our counter persons unfamiliarity with the Goodyear E Commerce system. That was addressed yesterday and he will now be our resident expert. The second and more important issue was with his tire pressure monitoring system. We had a lengthy conversation about the workings of the system and how the sensors are sealed units that can't be tampered with. I have invited Mr. Eddinger to return to our facility and I will personally inspect the sensors, with him present. If the sensors are externally damaged (i.e. cracked, broken, missing etc.) I will gladly replace them at no charge to him. If there is no physical damage to them, he understands that they have reached the end of their serviceability and will need to be replaced at his expense.
Mr. Eddinger is a very polite and understanding person and I have thanked him for his feedback and will do so again now. While no one ever wants to get a bad review, sometimes they are necessary to correct a training issue. This information that I was given was incredibly valuable to improving the operations of this store, both from a technical standpoint as well as from a customer service aspect. Mr. Eddinger, I apologize that your visit went as it did. Rest assured that these issues have been corrected. I look forward to your next visit and I look forward to seeing your next review stating the change that you have seen and your willingness to do business with us in the future.
