I've come to rely and trust on McGee Auto Service in Downtown Tampa. They're honest and hard working. They always look out for my car, and explain why an added service would be good for my car - always offering to do it later, if I want to think about it. They're also very convenient for me because I work downtown and can drop my car off in the morning, and pick it up later in the day or after work.

I recently visited a chain tire shop and was told that one of my tires had a nail in it and that it was not repairable. I knew there was a problem with the tire and I also did not trust the tactics of the shop. I called McGee's on 10/14/2016 and told Barbara I needed to travel on 10/15 and asked if the shop could provide service. She did not hesitate and told me to bring the car in. I explained that I would indeed have the tire replaced if that was necessary. The shop called me a few hours later and said that tire replacement was NOT necessary. The patch repair was $24.95! The former quote was $313. It was refreshing to deal with ethical customer service oriented people. McGee's has my future business and I have already talked them up to colleagues that work downtown.
