I will say that when I initially called the office to get an over the phone quote on frames and contact lenses I was not anticipating scheduling an appointment. However, upon speaking with the outstanding front office I was blown away by their wonderful customer service. My actual visit to the office was no different. The Doctor is wonderful and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that you love the glasses that you get. I had little experience picking out frames and was a little intimidated by the task but they couldn't have been more helpful. I felt truly valued as a patient. I will definitely be returning!

I loved my experience at the Meadows Family Eye Care Clinic. Dr. Ryan Reid was the utmost professional eye care doctor I have ever had and I have been wearing glasses for 20 years! I will ONLY use this practice in the future! Every detail of my eye exam was fully explained as the procedures were performed. The Daytona Optos machine they use to examine your eyes without dilation is cutting edge and fantastic. No more huge dark sunglasses and blurry vision for hours on end!

I saw Dr. (Mrs.) Reid for my eye exam. Very nice & answered all of my questions! I highly recommend them.
Dr. Reid himself was awesome. Lorraine was really nice as well as the older lady that helped look at glasses. I did not realize I would need a special evaluation to see about contacts. Thought it would be all covered in the exam but wasn't. Part my fault because I was uneducated in that area but would have been nice to know if I could have them as an option since I have never had glasses before. That would be a good opportunity for the office to educate their patients on that aren't familiar with wearing any kind of correction.
I found a pair of glasses that I liked in the office but wanted to look around as I've never had them before! I wanted to be sure that was what I wanted since the selection was very small compared to other places I have been with my husband. To make a long story short, my husband ordered glasses through the office but I went to another provider and found some really nice glasses AND sunglasses that I wanted to compare prices on. The new provider couldn't do a thing until the material hold that was placed on my account went away. I never told the office I was absolutely going to order this pair of glasses there and so there should be no reason a hold was left on the account after I left. I called to have the hold released and the lady in your office who answered said it would take an hour. I was ready to purchase a pair of glasses but because your office placed a hold it waisted 30 minutes of my time trying to get something released that should not have been there in the first place. I will never go back and if my husband hadn't already purchased the glasses through you, he would have went elsewhere. Don't place holds on people's insurance and leave them there unless you are prepared to release right away. Such an inconvenience! I was really hoping to like this office but will never go back or recommend to anyone else because of the time that was wasted.

In short, not everyone chooses to wear Contact Lenses- so not every exam includes those and the insurances see them as a cosmetic procedure therefore they do not cover the fitting. The office staff and Dr. Reid are fantastic, very professional, and kind. They make every effort to get you scheduled as soon as possible, they have a great selection of eye wear, and by far one of the best experiences in eye care and treatment from Dr. Reid.
