The Men's Room Barber Shop is always courteous, congenial, on time and helpful. I don't even have to explain to Trish how I want my haircut; she knows my hair better than I do and invariably selects the best way to cut it each time. She is threatening to cut it in some kind of asymmetrical cut usually found on someone a half a century younger than I am, so I will come in next time walking with crutches to make it clear that I am too old for such tonsorial shenanigans. I always enjoy coming to the Men's Room, even through I never have enough time to read an article in the male icon magazines -- hunting, fishing, adventures in investing, accounts of gruesome tails of survival in nightmarish situations, teaching table manners to cannibals, extracting metal barbs from your upper arm after having fallen halfway down a cliff face. Reminds me of my earliest days in barber shops with Argosy and Sports Illustrated.
