The staff at Merrifield Animal Hospital are courteous and helpful. The DVMs are knowledgeable and caring. I have been taking our dog to Merrifield for @5 years now and they’ve been wonderful!

Our cat received excellent care. Our appointment was right on time. All staff were professional and friendly. The veterinarian was easy to talk to and explained things clearly. This was our first time at the Animal Hospital, and we are pleased that it met our expectations. We will gladly continue to bring our cat there for his medical needs.

Rudy was very good with Tyler. I only became a little concerned when Tyler was taken back for a quick blood draw and wasn't out 20 minutes later. The front desk checked for me and all was OK. Would appreciate an update in the future. Thank you!

Doctor Sharif received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from George Mason University and has been practicing dentistry in the Northern Virginia community for the past 20 years. She graduated with honors from Dental School and further completed a two year residency and received her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Howard University College of Dentistry. Dr. Sharif has passed the rigorous board certification process and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Orthodontic Society which is the largest educational association in the world serving general and pediatric dentists who practice Orthodontics. Dr. Sharif was awarded the diplomate status by the AOS in 2012 the highest credentialing available from the organization. She has been teaching for more than 15 years as an assistant professor at the Howard University's Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
