Last week was the most stressful week as I worked to get medication for my senior cat for an UTI. After an expense of $1360, I was given two prescriptions. The 1st was to cost $80, I was charged $95 plus tax. The 2nd I had to pickup at CVS and was told to expect a cost between $50 and $300. I was charged $14.97. I was shamed for letting the issue "go for months" when I had brought up my concerns regarding her change in pee habits in Sept '21. (At that time, the doc was interested in a $1400 lab test for a cough the cat had!) I was frowned upon for refusing an ultrasound. I would call to attention the Jan 22 AARP article, REVEALED! Who Gets Scammed citing "scammers work to manipulate you into becoming emotional in either a positive or a negative way...."
