They are so friendly in the office and did a wonderful job with my daughter getting her acquainted with the different tools they use! Being a 2 year old she was a little unsure but they made her feel comfortable and took their time with her and were very patient!
Our practice was founded in 1894 by Dr. Thomas Bell and has grown over 120 years into a multi-doctor practice serving visually impaired patients at four major centers. Our doctors have received over 46 state and national awards. We are the only practice in history to twice receive the Optometrist of the Year Award for the United States in 1984 ( the late Dr. R. Lewis Scott) and in 1999 (Dr. Richard Windsor) from the American Optometric Association. Dr. Laura Windsor was awarded the National Young Optometrist of the Year Award by the American Optometric Association in 2011.
My whole family goes there, from my husband & I, to our 3 kids. The doctors/nurses always make the kids as well as us adults feel very satisfied with the level of care, compassion and overall treatmemt from Macha Eye Care in Anderson. The office staff and glasses fitters are always so kind and amazing. Everyone is so great with the kids by explain everything they are doing and try to make them as reassured as possible. I would not go anywhere else for eye care for my family. Especially after the service and problems we have received at our previous "eye doctor". They even have a pretty good/cool section of glasses that Medicaid/HIP pays for which my kids love, because they can still look cool/cute! I recommend them to everybody I know!
