I have now taken my 2004 Ford Focus to Midas Beverly Hills twice and on both occasions I have been impressed with their diagnoses and repairs. When another mechanic at a Chevron Station in the SFV had told me that I would need new brakes and had based his analysis on the sound my car was making, my dad had then suggested that I take my car to a Midas shop for a second opinion; I chose the Beverly Hills shop. Deciding to bring my car to Midas is one of the best automotive decisions I have ever made. At Midas the mechanics told me that the Chevron Station mechanic had tried to hoodwink me into doing a repair that was unnecessary, as it turned out that it was not my brakes but instead one of my struts that needed replacing. Ironically, that Chevron Station in the Valley that misdiagnosed my problem is recommended by the Auto Club. It just goes to show that it's always wise to get a second opinion before spending big money on repairs and it's especially wise to get that second opinion at Midas Beverly Hills. They are honest, competent, efficient and reasonably priced. Midas Beverly Hills is now my only mechanic in Los Angeles. To Amos, Harry, and crew-- thank you guys for your exemplary business practices and service.
