made an appointment online and received a confirmation email from Midas stating I would hear back from someone in one hour - I heard nothing.
I showed up at the time I wanted which was 7:30 am Wednesday morning (9/13). Stood in the lobby for 10 minutes and no one was around. I walked into the office, checked the shop and still no one. Finally someone showed up about 7:42 and helped me.
I told the person that I was returning from 2 months ago with the same issue. The a/c will only blow out of the defrost vents regardless of what its set at. The person took my keys, said someone would look at it at 9am and I was on my way.
I received the call from the attendant at about 10am saying everything was fixed. I asked what the issue was and he wasn't sure and would check. He came back and said its a vacuum line that needed repaired. I said that is the same thing as last time, why did it happen again. he couldn't tell me why and just said it happens with older vehciles. Rather than continue I just left.
I drove back to my office and all was fine with the a/c, but upon driving home the a/c broke again and will only blow cool air out of defrost vent. Didn't even make it a full day.
Clear you have no idea what is wrong and have no intention of fixing it correctly.
Would rather you just said its out of your scope and I should take it else where. Which, now I will have to do.
