A Hugh Thanks goes to service Manager Crystal and tech Miguel. On Saturday July 7th I had my van towed to Firestone down the street, we were visiting from San Jose and we called them first to make sure they could look to see if they could fix it. I explained to them that I was sure it was the radiator hose because I could see where the water was coming from. I was told after I was towed that it was to late to get parts from their warehouse because it was about 4 and 3:30 was the last shipment. I explained that we were in an emergency situation, I had a handicap daughter in a wheel chair and a baby besides another daughter , my wife and myself. She said they closed at 6 pm and could look at it but would have to wait to fix the next day. Being upset and unsure what to do I had a little breakdown and called my wife who was stuck at the mall with everyone, and she said to try calling someone else.

I looked up and saw the sign for Midas up the street and asked what time they closed and was told 5. Once again I became overwhelmed and she ask what was the matter and I explained my situation. She said hold on and went and talked to the Techs and they were willing to stay and help do the job if they could get the part. Crystal told me their one main supplier was done with deliveries but she would use another one that helps in emergency situations and was able to order the part and they finished the job about two hours after they closed. It is nice to see people who are willing to show concern for people as opposed to a name on a work order sheet. Thanks and please visit them for your car repair needs. Charles Ward

The prices on the signs inside the store do not reflect actual prices. The technician working on my car left for lunch and made me wait an additional 45 min beyond the 1.5 hours extra time needed to complete service. The service representative left for the day while I was waiting, furthering the confusion. Very unprofessional from both the tech and service representative while paying 4x the amount expected when looking at the in store advertisements.

This was my first visit to Midas of Vacaville for brake service and was very pleased that they were able to do a full brake job in just 2 hours, without an appointment, while I waited. The staff were very professional and the waiting area was well maintained with a TV and coffee. The cost was very reasonable and saved me the time and money involved in taking my car to an out-of-town dealer for brakes.

It's been a while since I've used this shop but I'm sure glad that I did. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. My car was done in about an hour and they went over everything before and after the work was completed. I definitely am going to be a repeat customer.

I came because I had a nail in my tire and they were the only place open on a Sunday. Your staff was nice. Especially the receptionist. But $20 to remove and patch a nail in my tire when every other place does it for free is ridiculous. My husband was not happy about this charge when I told him, but I thought I had no other choice because I didn’t think it could wait until Monday morning. If this happens again, I will definitely just wait until other places are open to avoid this charge.. I would have definitely been a repeat customer because of how nice your staff was, but because of this charge, I won’t be back.

The price for an alignment is displayed at $79.99. I was charged $89.99. When I asked why the price difference, the associate could not tell me why I was charged $10 more. She did say the electronic sign was “out of date” I asked for the price displayed and she could not honor it. I left my name and contact number for the manager, Gregory D. to contact me, which he has not reached out. I feel this is unprofessional and I will not bring my business back or recommend this shop to others.
