The doctors, hygenists, assistants, and front office staff are professional, friendly, and patient (especially with young children that do not want their teeth cleaned and x-rayed!), and they provide great dental services. The biggest problem with their office is the wait time. Expect to wait at least 10-30 minutes past the appointment time before being brought in to one of the examination rooms. There might be another 5-15 minute wait before the assistant/doctor/hygenist come in for the examination. They are either over scheduling the doctors or not allotting enough time for the exam. It is VERY frustrating. I waited almost an hour past the appointment start time once with my daughter. I had another appointment I had to get to and was ready to walk out without my daughter being seen, but they finally came and luckily the exam didn't take more than five minutes. However, a 5 minute exam SHOULDN'T had taken an almost an HOUR of my time,! The whole appointment shouldn't had taken more than 20 minutes...tops! (AN EXPLAINATION WHY IT IS TAKING SO LONG AND ASSURANCE THAT I'LL BE SEEN SOON SHOULD BE STANDARD PROCEDURES WHEN THE WAIT TIME EXCEEDS MORE THAN 10-15 MINUTES! IT IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING WHEN THEY DON'T SAY ANYTHING AND YOU HAVE TO ASK WHAT THE HECK IS TAKING SO LONG!! THIS GOES FOR ALL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS!! AT LEAST TELL YOUR PATIENTS IF THE DOCTOR IS RUNNING LATE FOR WHATEVER REASON AND OFFER TO RESCHEDULE!! THE PATIENT SHOULDN'T HAVE TO ASK!! MY TIME IS JUST AS VALUABLE AS THE DOCTORS'!!!)
No one wants to lose a 'sale' but would you rather get the 'sale' at a later date? Or not get the 'sale' at all? It is much more difficult to get a lost customer back than to keep the ones you already have! With 25+ years in the Customer Service industry, believe me! I know!
I'm so sorry that you had this experience. I understand that a long waiting could be frustrating and we definitively we 'll work on that. Some times we schedule certain time for treatments that take more time than usual. But as you said we should let the patient know. Thanks for your comment, that make us improve our service. Our goal is 100% patient satisfaction.
