My dental problem started while vacationing in Yosemite National Park. The pain and the painkillers began on Monday. Four days later I was up to 12+ painkillers a day. On Thursday my dentist in Florida prescribed a standard antibiotic which I started immediately. By Friday, the situation had worsened to the point that I knew that I had to have an emergency dental procedure. Because I was flying back to Florida on Saturday, time was of the essence. So, as we were traveling to our airport hotel in Millbrae I began looking on-line for a dentist to help alleviate the pain, which by now was almost unbearable. I was so fortunate to reach Dr. Zubrow and The Millbrae Smile Center.
My first contact was with Alma on the phone at around 2pm. She took my information and said she would call back. She called back quickly and scheduled me for a 5:15pm appointment. I couldn't believe my luck. Upon arrival I met Alma & Jay who were so sympathetic that I knew that I was in good hands immediately. Dr. Z came in and I knew that everything would be OK. Dr. Z gave me a prescription for a more powerful antibiotic and told me she had an opening the following morning if I needed it. I woke Saturday morning with a very apparent abscess on my upper left lateral tooth. Dr. Z, with Rita assisting, acted quickly, professionally and expertly as she lanced the abscess, drained and then flushed it with a saline rinse. I felt relief almost instantly as the pressure from the abscess found it's way out through the incision. The flight home was uneventful and I am pain free. Thank you so much for getting me through this totally unexpected and very painful experience. It is not possible to give a more stellar review.
