Dr. Harris and Dr. Ward are a pleasure to work with and are very knowledgable. Dr Devlin is not only the rudest and worst vet I have ever seen, but her customer/client care and communication is amongst the worst I have ever witnessed. Not only did her rotten attitude and rude remarks lead me to never want to come to your clinic again (I have been bringing my dogs there for YEARS and have to come in at least once a month for my dog food, not to mention SEVERAL TIMES in the past few weeks) but I actually debated reporting her. I called asking for advice and seeking expertise until I was able to bring my dog into the clinic two days later when my work schedule allowed it and to see if that was ok and if there was something over theca counter I could do until then. She wouldn't let me explain, wouldn't listen and already had her mind made up that she was going to scold me, for whatever reason. She returned my message looking for advice, and instead of her just telling me this was a serious issue and that I needed to come in right away, she continued to bully me into to feeling like a horrible pet owner, that I had "to pay for the visit like anyone else", that "my dog losing his sight would be on me", and continued to badger and beat me up verbally until I eventually didn't know how to respond to her and I told her I didn't appreciate her attitude and I hung up. I took my dog to the emergency vet that night, not only just because my dog needed it, or because of her nasty behavior but out of principal alone that I refused to utilize this clinic untilI I was sure I could see other vets that worked there. I guarantee I am not the only client that has been a victim of her rude attitude and lack of bedside manner. I could have waited until the next day or had made it to them by closing but I was so scared of her I didn't even want to see the building. I have been into this office SEVERAL TIMES in the last 3 weeks after having this issue with my shih tzu's eyes and I had to get my other dog spayed. This is not the way you treat a multiple repeat customer, especially one that has been coming to you for YEARS. Whatever the case may be she was absolutely unprofessional, inappropriate, and immature. In addition, the office manager chose to call me and accuse me of "perceiving" this conversation I had with Dr. Devlin (implying it wasn't really this way). Not only was that insulting to my intelligence, but was completely uncalled for. I am not the only person that heard her inappropriate behavior that day. I didn't need to be bullied again, nor did I deserve to have my feelings invalidated. The rest of your staff is excellent - the people at the front desk are always friendly and helpful, the technicians are excellent with my dogs and are compassionate and knowledgable, and as I stated before the other doctors in your practice are wonderful and extremely helpful (especially Dr. Ward and Dr. Harris). I think the office manager was coming from a good place but maybe used the wrong choice of words. You guys need to train your staff how to talk to people and how to treat clients.
