For the past several months I have had a gnawing pain in my lower back. Being a country girl, I thought it was something I had done outside and in a few days the pain would go away. The pain did not go away but it was not unbearable so I ignored it. I then noticed my toes were going numb. Again, nothing unbearable and who has time to go to the doctor? Right ? That was three months ago. Last week I stood up at my desk and couldn't move. I couldn't sit back down and I couldn't stand straight either. I was stuck. Literally! After having a co worker call my husband I was carried to our truck and taken home. There I stayed in bed for 3 days in excruciating pain. My husband finally said enough was enough something had to be done. My sister called and asked had I seen a chiropractor. Not in over 30 years I told her. I saw Dr. Dean Mink when I was 16. And he is the only one I trust to do anything to my back and I am sure he is no longer practicing. After a call to our local chiropractor ( I live in Fla ) they told us that yes Dr Minks clinic is still going strong. When I called, the young lady told me that Dr Mink had recently retired but she assured me that Dr Register could take care of me. Then she told me to come on in. What? I can just walk in? Well crawl in was more like it. And that is exactly what I did. I waited just long enough to fill out paperwork and was in with Dr Register in no time. After an x-ray, a couple of different procedures and an adjustment I "WALKED" out one happy and pain free woman. I will need to go back once a week until I am completely pain free and then I intend on going back once a month to keep it that way.
