The process for refilling Molly's Heartgard med was seamless. I called in my request in early afternoon and it was ready for pick-up by 5 PM. I was especially happy to see Rochelle, the tech who brought the med out to my car and took care of the transaction with my credit card.

Honestly pretty terrible. Did they do the basics - yes. Do I think my dog is fine - yes. But there is zero bedside manner. I get it's just an annual health check and just a "dog" but for most people bringing their animal in annually it's because they love their pets and want to take that appointment to talk through what is going on and "feel heard". I was taken 20 minutes late and was in and out in probably 10 minutes (to include two shots). I had two questions that felt pretty blown off whereas the doctor could have taken a minute (at most) to ask questions and explain vs. providing very little understanding.
To also tell me my dog needs to lose a few pounds but never seek to understand any external factors - e.g. amount of exercise, etc. is just unacceptable. My husband and I left pretty confused.
This was my second year and I gave last year the benefit of the doubt because of covid.

The team at Montclair Animal Clinic took great care of my kitty when she needed a teeth cleaning and a surgical procedure. It was clear to me that she was well attended to and gently cared for while away from home.

The clinic is a great place to take your pet. I recently brought my cat Shadow in for a shave and a pedicure. They did a great job with him. The issue that I do have is that I was never called when they finished with him. I ended up calling myself to see what the status was with my cat. That is when I figured out they were finished with him. They were really busy that day and that probably was the reason why I was not called. All in all, this is a really good Vet to take your pet to. I would recommend this Vet to anybody. They really do care about the animals.

I called when I arrived and I was not put on hold for an extended period of time, and the technician came out to meet me, helped me get my dog into the office, and then she was quick to get my bill settled.
