I really enjoyed my 50 minute massage with the masseuse(Eileen?), however there were a couple of things that took away from my experience:
First, when I arrived a little before 4pm for my appt., the person at the desk wanted me to pay 'up front', which meant that I couldn't include the tip in my payment and had to assume everything would go well. Moreover, this person didn't really even move from her seated position to help me get a pen to sign the payment slip. It was pretty clear I was interfering with her current task, and she wanted to get the books done before 5pm. I thought this was rude and didn't really have my interests in mind.
Second: The window was open in the room in which the massage took place. At first this was kind of nice. There was slight breeze and it was quiet. However, about 1/2 way through the session, the train crossroads alarm started to sound and then the commuter train went by. The whole thing took about 60-90 seconds and was very disruptive. It ruined my state of relaxation and was not necessary.
In summary, while I thought the massage service itself was very good, the environment wasn't the best and would probably not go back.
