Reception staff was very friendly and we were checked in quickly. We were brought into the eye exam room and then had to wait nearly 25 minutes to be seen by the optometrist. The exam went well, the doctor was really friendly and we were told to go pick out frames. Never once were we told by the doctor or the person helping us with the frame purchase that the type of glasses that were needed could be found over the counter or online for a fraction of the price we paid for at the eye clinic. These were not prescription glasses, just reading glasses. I feel like we were pushed into buying the frames there. After shopping for frames then we had to wait another 15-20 minutes to finish the eye exam. We were at the clinic for almost an hour and a half. Everything took way too much time. I would say the exam was worth it but next time I would ask for a prescription and shop elsewhere.
Dear Anonymous, I'm so sorry to have kept you waiting. We recognize your time is valuable. Reading glasses sometimes are available over the counter, sometimes, they are specific to the patient. We'd love the opportunity to explain it better. Thanks for your review and please feel free to call to talk more about your experience. Thanks for coming in and for the feedback.
