About
Dr. Herrera is a graduate of the nationally renowned University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He has broad knowledge and experience in all phases of general and cosmetic dentistry, including implants, crowns and dentures, root canals and extractions. He is certified in Invisalign, the clear braces treatment method, as well as soft tissue lasers. Dr. Herrera loves working with children and enjoys treating whole families. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Contra Costa County Dental Society.
Dr. Herrera's passion for dentistry and dedication to his patients are evident the moment you meet him. He believes in letting his patients make educated decisions regarding their oral health. His approach to your treatment starts with patiently listening to you. Then, after a complete and thorough examination, he prepares and discusses a personalized treatment plan for you.
A native to the bay area, Dr. Herrera graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Physiology (Biology) and Chemistry. Dr. Herrera resides in San Ramon with his wife, Karen, and two sons, Jacob and Jason. They are actively involved in community affairs and enjoy outdoor activities.
