Drs. Ngai and Phipps try their best to keep up with the latest research and products so that we may provide quality, up to date dentistry for our patients. We treat each patient the way we would want to be treated ourselves (or, in the case of children, like we would treat our kids). Our office strives to get patients into optimal dental condition, then maintain them there. Emphasis is on preventive measures to avoid larger, more costly procedures in the future.

We try to keep our office up to date with technology. We are currently converting to all digital forms. This will avoid the necessity of scanning and shredding so many documents. We feel that thanks to our computer professional's efforts, digital records not only allow us convienance, but also the ability to safely keep your private information more secure than old fashioned paper records.

Digital Xrays have allowed us to dramatically decrease our patients' Xray exposure, while increasing our ability to diagnose.

Electric Handpieces allow us to cut teeth with decreased shaking and greater efficiency, benefiting both doctor and patient.

Air Abrasion allows us to do some fillings without numbing the patient. It's messy, but comfortable for most people.

Lasers: We have a small diode laser that assists us in managing the soft tissues during certain procedures. We feel this addition to our practice has really helped us in improving our quality of care.

Cerec 3-This technology continues to evolve and we will continue to watch it. We think it has benefits, but have not yet committed to integrating it in our practice. We have an awesome lab that we have worked with since our practice started and feel that we cannot make crowns in our office of the same quality as our lab specialist does.

Have we forgot anything? We feel some "new technology" items are just not beneficial to our patients. Please let us know when you hear of "good things." Sometimes we've evaluated them already, sometimes not. It helps for us to know what's important to YOU!
