The doctor, the front desk assistants and eye exam techs were fantastic. Greeted me promptly and overall a nice experience.
I do not have terrible eye issues and only use them for driving. When the doctor had me go sit with the sales assistants for glasses, that is when my experience became a 3 star vs a 5 star.
The younger gentleman went over my options with my insurance. Since it was a small amount they would cover (just the frames alone), I kindly told him I would be going to an online website(warby parker) to buy a cheaper pair. Since I do not wear glasses/contacts 24/7, I did not feel like paying $400-500 would be justified for me. The older, bald, gentleman sitting next to my sales assistant chimed in "well if you don't mind the quality of the frame." Again I stated, no offense to eye2eye but I would still get a cheaper pair. He stated to make the same comment again.
I would be more understanding if it sounded helpful but it came off as a condescending comment and at the end of the appointment, made me feel like I was a cheap customer. It made me feel uncomfortable as well.
Besides that experience, the appointment was great. But I do not think I will go back or suggest to anyone due to the fact that the sales person was so pushy and somewhat rude.
