I had gone to them once a few months ago and was very satisfied. I have a hard time scheduling appointments for my hair because my work hours run very late. So it was a while before I could come back. Had the same stylist again just the other day and was excited because I liked what she did last time. I only needed to clean it up and get it back to that.
It was a little last minute trying to find an appointment, so they were pretty booked up, but I was told there was a spot free at 7pm. No problem.
When I got there everyone else was cleaning up their stations. I felt bad scheduling so late in the day, but the salon was open until 8 so I figured it would be a non-issue.
Everyone seemed to be poking fun at my hairdresser because she was the only one with an appointment. Just teasing that's fine. But it kept going throughout my appointment. And I started to feel bad about making it at all. It felt very rushed and my hairdresser ended up saying I couldn't get a blow dry, which seemed odd because it wasn't mentioned over the phone when I booked the appointment. And then when I went to pay, she told the girl at the counter to charge for a cut AND dry. I was a little confused. Luckily I had credit from a referral and got a discount. But if I didn't I would have been charged full price cut and dry for just a trim.
A little disappointed. I liked my hair stylIst. But I shouldn't have to feel guilty for having an appointment an hour before closing when I was told it would be fine. Maybe that was a fluke on their part, I'm not sure. But if they don't want appointments at 7 they should change their hours.
