Very thorough exam and conversation with Dr. Wang for a not-easily-diagnosed or identified problem with a middle-aged Golden Retriever who is well-cared for by her regular vet. I didn't even know there were internists until our vet referred us to her. She was caring, compassionate and seemed to be aware of the high cost of the exam and what everything she was recommending entailed. We still don't have a diagnosis; going back next week but I have confidence she's going to figure it out. I liked her matter-of-fact bedside manner, she reminds me of a younger version of our beloved regular vet, Sherry Spain (which is a huge compliment). Will definitely go here again if we have any other weird problems and will now consider them in the event of an emergency.OTOH, not thrilled with the vet tech who checked us in; she didn't seem to realize that I might know as much if not more than she did about both my dog but dog's in general; in fact, I came to the appointment with a vet tech in tow (from our regular clinic who came for support) and she still treated us kind of like we were idiots. She could use some, I don't know, training on recognizing when the owner needs to be talked down to and when the owner might actually have an IQ above 90.
